Bolo Yeung is best remembered as Bruce Lee and Jean-Claude Van Damme’s nemesis in the movies Enter the Dragon and Bloodsport. Famously known as a competitive bodybuilder in Hong Kong, he, too, is a martial artist and a martial arts film director. Many people look up to him as his degree of knowledge about martial arts is admirable. In fact, he has appeared in a number of martial arts films in Hong Kong before he joined the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.

Yeung was last seen in the spotlight during the 1980s, but he made a rare appearance in the movie Blizhniy Boy: The Ultimate Fighter in 2007. With his great contribution to the world of martial arts, the Cinemax series Warrior honored him by having a character named Bolo, played by Rich Ting in 2019, while the show’s protagonist had many similarities with Lee.
